The Strategist Buying Guide: The best 3D printers
So much work, so much fun
Last week I wrapped up over a month of testing 10 different 3D printers and wrote up the results for The Strategist. I went into that story thinking that there were large gaps between 3D printer brands, and came away with the realization that there's never been a better time to get into the hobby. Most of the printers I tested were unboxed, put together and printing within an hour – most of them capable of multicolor printing, at that. All of them were ridiculously easy to use.

As a side note, there's a point during the review process when the story has been filed, photos taken and you wait for an editor to make edits where you feel a since of relief and accomplishment that the review is done, using that device is no longer a requirement and you can go back to your normal workflow. However, I don't think I've ever felt such a big sense of relief as I did once this 3D printer story went live. I can now clear up so much space in my basement.
