There might be hope for getting an iPhone Duo on launch day after all
I’d plan on getting in line early, though
Jake Krol for TechRadar interviewed Apple’s SVP of Marketing, Greg Joswiak, today and he gave potential Duo owners some hope for launch day pickup:
"You know, we didn't ship them all away during the pre-order, we have them available at the stores, we're excited," said Joswiak. … “I'll be at 5th Avenue in the morning, my favorite place to launch iPhone, and I'm sure we'll have some happy customers.”
According to this post on Reddit, the Australian Apple Store had 50 units available for walk-ins.
Maybe there is hope after all.
